Captain Pamela Barnett's "Obama Never Vetted" examines four issues which cloud Barack Obama's presidency: his security clearance (or lack thereof), his identity records, his birthplace, and his Constitutional eligibility.

In Chapters 1 and 2, we learn that the US routinely discloses sensitive military and diplomatic secrets to elected officials, even when those officials do not qualify for security clearance. This, according to the author, is a dangerous national security breach. Captain Barnett describes, in detail, existing security clearance criteria and procedures, and explains why President Obama, due to his public record and information that Obama himself has admitted to be true, cannot receive even the lowest level of security clearance under current standards.

Chapter 3 and 4 cite a litany of private investigators and document-forensic experts who have determined that the President's published birth certificate, social security number and selective service registration are fabrications. Captain Barnett is not a "birther" per se. She explicitly states, in her book, that she makes no claim as to the President's actual birthplace. She does, however, list reasons to suspect that Obama might have been born in Kenya....

....But even after taking contrary opinions into account, Captain Barnett's main point remains unassailable: there is currently no court-admissible evidence which conclusively establishes the President's birthplace, whether Hawaii, Kenya or elsewhere.

Chapter 5 gives specific concrete well-documented examples showing the extent to which Obama eligibility defenders, including the Congressional Research Service, are blatantly distorting and misrepresenting the Supreme Court record regarding Presidential eligibility.

To serve as President, it is not enough to be a US citizen - one must be a natural born citizen. On two occasions (1830 and 1884), the Supreme Court ruled that children born on US soil, of a father owing foreign allegiance, are not US citizens of any kind (natural born or otherwise) at birth. In 1898, the Court, reversing prior precedent, ruled that such children may, under some circumstances, acquire US citizenship at birth. But to this day, no Supreme Court majority opinion has ever regarded such children as natural born citizens.

Whenever a majority Opinion of the Court has referred to an individual as a "natural born citizen", the individual was always born on US soil, to US-citizen parents, and was therefore, at birth, a citizen of the United States exclusively. Obama acquired foreign nationality, at birth, by descent from his father, a Kenyan native who never became a US citizen. For that reason alone, President Obama, even if he was born in Hawaii and had acquired US citizenship at birth, is probably not a natural born citizen. Captain Barnett exposes various efforts to hide these facts from Congress and the public...

The reviewer makes more points, at length and I got bored, frankly obviously being pretty committed to the notion that Obama was born in Hawaii after all -- which really doesn't matter. That is stated above!
