Because there were no kids running out of Soto's classroom or anywhere else.

Question: Why should we feel any more sorry for the loved ones of those who died at Sandy Hook than those of any others who die in this country?

Answer: We shouldnt. Thats the power of propaganda causing many people to feel that way.

Where did Gene Rosen get the casualty list from before it was publicly released?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 31862440

His reference to the casualty list has been taken out of context. He was referring to the fact that he later looked at the casualty list and realized that her child was in fact on it.

I have the same question as poster above but have never seen any reports to suggest there were no kids running out of Soto's classroom. If you follow the timeline from dispatch and read early responders account from the New York Times:

[link to www.nytimes.com]

it does seem they could not have escaped Soto's class without the kids running right into the cops coming in the front door.

Maybe you can explain your theory of the whole scenario.

And how did the kids know enough to leave the school? Is there an exit door in the 1st grade hallway? Maybe they went out that door - an emergency exit?

Well, it sounds to me there were quite a few people apparently leaving the school.

1. 3 teachers that fled the school to hide @ Subway
2. Group of kids found at Gene Rosen's house
3. Single boy who "ran past" the shooter to escape

I keep reading news stories about how the police responded within 3 minutes. So I just don't understand how they didn't see each other.

Barbara Sibley must have shown up after the principal was shot and just as the killer was making his way to Rousseau's class. Barbara is having a chat with the other woman and then Rousseau's kids are shot and she runs.

The next set of shots by the killer would have been in Soto's class, at which time the cops were making there way into the front of the school.

But this doesn't explain how Barbara saw the kids running away from school when she first arrived.

I think the scenario makes more sense if we look at it being Soto's class that was shot up first (which was the classroom right after one he passed with the door closed - I forget this teacher's name). I don't think she had the presence of mind to shut and/or lock the door. I never heard any reports of him shooting out this door or having any problem getting into this classroom. Doesn't help with the hero story. She was scared shitless - I don't blame her.

Six of Soto's students run out.
Barbara Sibley then drives up and sees them.
Meanwhile, shooter is making his way to Rousseau's class who can't lock the door.
The cops are now outside the front door and grab Barbara to safety who is now nowhere near the front door cause she heard the gunshots and ran.
Cops are making their way into front of building and hear gunshots. Rousseau's class is now dead.

Killer may hear the cops and starts making his way back up the hall and pops back into Soto's class and kills himself.

I think your scenario makes sense. Hopefully there were surveillance cameras or security cameras on that caught some of what went on that day and they just haven't released the information. I think they said they will release a report in June.

I heard they were not going to release a timeline. I am trying to make up my own observations of what the timeline may be based on the radio transcripts and the first responders interview. Maybe I should start a thread on my observations.

many witness refer that they have heard "pop..pop..pop"

it is usual to refer to rifle shot with "pop"... not bang, boum, pang?

The other thing that got me was one of the girls they interviewed said "I heard 7 bangs". She didn't even have to think about it, she just popped up with that number pretty quick. This is right after her mom picked her up from the school. I just thought it was odd.

She also used the word "huddled". People have been using that word a LOT lately, and it isnt a word Ive personally heard kids ever use. They huddled in the closet, the teacher was found in class with the kids huddled in a corner, etc.

She said "my teacher said to go in here and we huddled in the corner of the gym". IDK just sounded coached. But I could be totally talking out of my a*s.

Yeah that also confuses me. I just read an interview with a cop that said they got there within 3 minutes and as they were walking into the school the walls were shaking from the gunshots. Fast forward, he finds this girl with a weak pulse, he says he picked her up and "ran her out to the triage area they had set up in the parking lot".

Really? That was quick. How would he know they had a triage area in the parking lot when all this stuff is happening minute by minute. Plus, the firehouse is next door to the school. Are they saying the first responders got there and then sat in the parking lot as people were getting shot? I really wish they would clarify.
