its a cycle.. we , throughout human history in fact once inhabited mercury and venus.. and in about 100,000 years we will move on to mars . the output of the sun has forced us to keep moving to the next farthest planet... eventually when the sun hits red giant phase.. we will inhabit jupiter. MArs is evolving as we speak to intercept the human race one day.
