Anonymous Coward User ID: 25390958 United States 02/02/2013 09:21 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | If you knew anything about aircraft design or engineering, you wouldnt be so proud. It's only a model and a poorly made one. It cant work as promised. It would at best be no more than a one way subsonic drone, piloted by suicide pilots. It isnt designed to land. any of the airplanes being built today are not the least bit aerodynamically capable of "flying". the only reason why they fly, and fly so magnificently, is because of the computer controls on all of the engines that are constantly keeping the attitude of the aeroplane stable. Did you catch that last sentance? IT ISNT DESIGNED TO LAND, the design has an unacceptably high stall speed, too fast to land and expect to survive the event. That tends to waste pilots, you know, the ones that have to learn how to fly it for a year or two... |

Do get back to me once youve flown military jet aircraft "The B-2's fly-by-wire computers overcome the flying wing's inherent poor stability by continuously and automatically making split-second control adjustments, independent of the pilot. Anonymous Coward User ID: 20144973 Canada 02/02/2013 10:03 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | If a plane of this design attempted to make a positive high G maneuver, the air intakes would be in low pressure due to their location, the engine would lose compression and stall out. Quoting: Holden 32744103 Not only is this not a flying version, there wont be one like it without a lot of extensive modifications. This shows me that Iran doesnt even have the technical know-how to construct a basic fighter jet of their own design, much less an advanced fighter jet. Again, this is a juvenile attempt. It's Jet Fighter, not Fighter Jet. you know what's funny? Iranians have money, they have one of the top intellectual engineers. and here you are explaining to us that you know better? are you an engineer? I don't think so. that jet was flying, and it was a success. now please go to bed, and cry me a river |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 20144973 I don't think so. that jet was flying, and it was a success. now please go to bed, and cry me a river sorry charlie ... Iran is changing their story- I was right about the vid of it flying was a small remote control aircaft... Quoting: Holden 32744103 A snapshot of Iranian TV Channel 1, says the flying plane is a smaller model of it, not the real one. (written under the snapshot) means : Flight test of smaller prototype. [link to www.militaryphotos.net] ... so that confirms they dubbed some fake sound onto that vid as well. They got caught and now theyre tryna fix it. Are Iranians really this much like little children? children in grown men's bodies: [link to blu.stb.s-msn.com] . If this is native Iranian, Iran now joins the ranks of Britian in having its own internal tech prowess as well as being a leader within an Empire. Quoting: Marxist In other words, they are becoming self realiant within an imperial context that is global. They can become cultural game changers as regards the other muslims. I think you missed that fact that this is a cheap model, not a real aircraft No effective canopy mating possibilities/ no seal Quoting: Holden 32744103 Canopy appears to be thick plexiglass Poor visibility through cheap canopy No effective structure inside the cockpit walls Fiberglass construction evident inside cockpit, and low-quality at that No ejection seat Seat way to flimsy Too small inlets No nozzle on the back No seams No access panels No external sensors Multiple issues that preclude stealth and many more This isnt even a mediocre mockup LOL, the cheap airspeed indicator - [link to i47.tinypic.com] (upper left w green/yellow/red) shows a never exceed speed of the of about 260 knots. Slower than fighter aircraft during WW2. BWAAAAHAHAHAHAHA! add to that: Seat not large enough to accomodate a pilot, looks ~3/4 scale Exhaust area painted with same paint as rest of body [link to theaviationist.com] Isnt it funny when little boys will not accept the truth even when its shoved in their face? |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 33548610 Brazil 02/02/2013 10:24 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I wonder if lockheed martin engineers are butthurt that that plane actually flies. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 33548610 No; after they laffed their asses off, they probably shook their heads that Iranian engineers dont even have the capability of building a realistic fake. you must be one of those butthurt engineers. With that said I would like to apply for a position on your company. I can guarantee that I can't make viable aircrafts and if by a miracle I manage to make them fly, the pilots won't be able to breath. And add to that, that I will make'em expensive as hell. So the contracts will be very profitable -- and long... 20 years before anyone realizes that I am a moron who can't make shit fly. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 25873528 United States 02/02/2013 10:25 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Oh OP this thread makes me laugh. That thing doesn't even have an engine just a red plug where one is supposed to go. And you think that thing is stealthy? Clear rip off of American fighters and a terrible one at that. I'd like to see that thing when and if it ever gets off the ground do against an US fighter. Anyway though...you continue to be impressed and the rest of us will continue to not be. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 26238410 Im thinking the same thing. Governments and militaries will quickly realize its fake, so its got to be simply for the common Iranian peasant. okay hot shot, laugh all you want. but you're right the military experts will find out about this gem.. the air show will be in couple of days, so hold on your horses. this ship is not going to sink yet I hope that you dont actually believe what youre saying... 'Theyve got the real thing theyre going to fly in a few days, but instead they showed a cheap mockup today.' 'Theyve go the real thing that they flew in that grainy short vid clip, but instead of showing that, they showed this cheap mockup instead.' You dont truly believe that do you? i know what he meant, why couldn't you? he said that they will show this Jet flying at the air show. so hold on tight. don't judge the book by its cover |

However, if they are thinking strategically as opposed from their underpants or the vale of many virgins, then they are evolving beyond Islamic blinkers and that precisely is my point. This planet desparately needs for a true Reformation in Islam for there to be any movement between the two majors empires I mentioned, the British and the Arab domains of dominance. I will be following Iran more closely, but wont be holding my breath. Workers of the World, Unite. You have nothing to lose but your chains! |
IMAX (OP) User ID: 31415079 Canada 02/03/2013 03:05 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | There is a HUGE difference between a picture of a mock-up sitting in a hanger to a plane that can actually fly. Quoting: RonP Even the Russian and Chinese stealth planes, which both look like modified f-22s have at least flown, yet are many years from being operational. I seriously doubt that this is even remotely ready for use in anything. how do you not know that this jet never flied? didn't you watch the videos that was later posted?
