Kind of true, but not really. Most people envision NYC but the vast majority of NY does not look like the bottom pic. You must live near the adorondacks maybe? Sure it does, anywhere outside the metro areas .... the taconics, catskills appalachia trail, lakes region, mid hudson valley etc etc etc. And thats only the eastern half. Have you ever been here ??? No it doesnt, and yes I have been there and all over there a million times, and used to live there. Finger Lakes does not look like that pic, I beg to differ on Hudson, i would go with near the Catskills and Adorondacks area. Every place else is either flat (why vermont calls new yorkers flatlanders) or rolling hills, with a few higher elevaltions here and there.
