Lars (OP) User ID: 992118 Sweden 02/03/2013 07:39 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Works well if you have burnt yourself at the stove, put some essencial oil on and it relieves the pain. Quoting: ninnie 33444631 Another thing that works is just ice water or but an ice cube directly on the burn. This takes the heat away and it heals faster. After the ice treatment, lavender would be even more effective. |
Meadow User ID: 1560850 United States 02/03/2013 08:37 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I fill 3 ounce size Dixie cups with water, a sprig of fresh lavender and 2 drops of essential lavender oil. I freeze the little cups and keep them handy for burns, scrapes, and bruises and bumps. Just peel the paper cup down about half way and use this oversized ice cube on the injury. Hold onto the bottom of the cup and gently rub the ice cube back and forth on the skin. Love my lavender. My favorite herb. |
