I feel very tense that this is finally going to be heard. Of course I want justice and for something to happen, but I doubt it will based upon some technicality.
If the President lied as seems self-evident, it will cause a Constitutional crisis. Everything will be up in the air, for technically the Supreme Court appointments of Sotomayor and Kagan would be illegal and hence how could the Supreme Court make a ruling? You see where I am going? It would affect everything since he was elected and Biden would also be illegally elected and the 1st Presidental electrion and Electoral College election would be invalid. It all would: every bill signed by Obama. All of those laws null and void. All political appointees would have performed illegal actions and their decisions null and void.
It would be a freaking nightmare.
By presiential succession, that puts the Speaker of the House in line as the logical choice for an Interim President, but clearly we might have to have an emergency Presidential election.

It would be a perfect time for a rogue state to attack us with an EMP weapon. God Help Us. I don't think it would be complete chaos. Only less than half would be having a hissy about it, as long as the welfare checks and ebt cards are not interrupted, there won't be much rioting from that sector and the rest of us would be celebrating getting rid of his ass. I just saw an old van drive by my house this morning, the guy had a sign on it that said "anarchy is better than what we have now". People are getting fed up in my neck of the woods.
