You know, I don't really know. That whole "Order out of Chaos" and ends justifying the means is much more a PTB thing, I don't run into it in any of the Orders and/or Fraternities and it's pretty appaling really. I cannot say those ideas are not written SOMEWHERE in all the various texts of all the various Fraternities but it's definitely not a theme in any of my circles.

I have said many time that I am not a Mason but travel in higher circles and although some overlap may occur, I am a Rosicrucian.

I know, Albert Pike... I have a 1948 copy of Morals and Dogma on my lap, ancient, wow, 65 years old and it smells it! LOL. The real esoteric version. On the first page it says in big bold letters:

"ESOTERIC BOOK, FOR SCOTTISH RITE USE ONLY; TO BE RETURNED UPON WITHDRAWAL OR DEATH OF RECIPIENT.

Well I guess that guy failed to return it LOL and I don't think they would care if I have it. I have mentioned it to a few of them and they didn't ask for it back.

But back to Pike, I have to say other than the rather ominous reference to WW3 and the very controversial referance to Lucifer (which He nor I equate with Satan) the rest of the book is an awesome referance.

I think I'm getting a little off topic or maybe never got right on it LOL.

It's doesn't matter if we all come from the same place just that we share and contribute and that feeds us new insights.

I see some squabbling and that really should not take place, let go of ego and discuss.

No, you are not off topic at all. My understanding is that the Rosicrucians are essentially a Christian based and possibly Catholic organization. Is that true?

No, it's not true.

Back in the middle ages everyone had to claim to be Christian based so as not to get burned at the stake or otherwise murdered or abused.

Some christian symbolism was needed and even some of what they thought were the best traits of christianity was incorporated but really, it's hard core occultism and spiritual alchemy. But all in the Light, everything towards the betterment of ourselves and Humanity.

Are you sure Frater? Christianity was also started with the same aims as most secret societies with Christianity being the more watered down version of the secret teachings concealed in allegory and Masonry and Rosicrucianism are more of the real deal with in depth teachings that help develop our souls and understanding of not only the bible teachings, but also ourselves and the world.

Hence, they are the same tree but with different branches of teachings and truths that all go back to the same "seed" source.

My wife and I are students as well (her more so than I) and have their main book. From what I have read, a lot of the material and teachings are Christian based with a heavy emphasis on Jesus Christ. But this is not an outer order, it is the main one.
