The two were one... Both in Spirit and in flesh...
Adam became accursed for his wife... He suffered punishment for her transgression.
Much as Christ became accursed for his wife... Also, The Christ took on the punishment for his wife.
The two are one... The Husband suffers the reproach of the wife.
To repair the breech.
Glory to The LORD for his sacrifice. He repaired the breech for his bride.
