What I thought was cool, as a mom, when my kid's got their Etch-a Sketches, were the little plastic sheets to put over the screen. They were mazes and games. The kids liked them and they really made a difference in hand/eye coordination.

Don't feel too bad about it. They didn't last very long at all. They came in a little envelope, but they never went back in right. They wrinkled up really bad and got ripped up.

I forgot about the keychain ones! The travel one was bigger than that. It was about 6 inches across, the screen was about 4 inches across.
