after studying scripture for decades, one can easily see gray areas, unsure meanings, and missing passages. The timeline is also a mess. Then we have the touch of the Roman Catholic church who tainted scripture even more.

in my opinion, keep studying. Not everything is a black and white as the Children's Bible....and that is just one way it could all go.
