Wrong. The F-22 is one of the noisiest aircraft in the Air Force and can travel faster than the speed of sound without an afterburner. Stealth in aircraft has little to do with noise and much more to do with evading radar and reducing infrared signature.

I am still trying to decide which is the better fake, this or the kenyan skeet shooting.

If they were to actually build a plane like this, it would carry it's ordinance internally in two bays either side of the engine, leaving little room for fuel, thus shortening its mission range.
In this observation, my theory is that it's for short attack runs on ships, flying in low under ships radar to pop up and deploy two anti-ship missiles from its two small weapons bays, this is just a theory, maybe the plane never gets built? Time will tell.

The still pics have to be a drone.... nobody would have the balls to fly that thing. 240kt max, that's optimistic.

I doubt they'll build it. They did the same thing with a supposedly new plane just a couple years ago. Shortly after that their "crack" pilots crashed their only AWACS type plane when it collided with another jet during a parade.

No, I'm talking the F-117, which has a top speed of 617 mph,
below the speed of sound.

While the F-313 speed of 240 kias would make it tough to
shoot down in a dog fight (low turn radius compared to an F-22),
it makes it vulnerable to even drones along the gulf coastline
once visually identified (BTW, that's easily done at 240 knots!).

An F-18 Block II could probably easily scan a fan-blade count
of this F-313 prototype and nail it on its first flight.

That said -- Noise IS hazardous from ground-based sources HUMINT
assets which then coordinate with look-down radar platforms
for "tighter" radar scans from airborne surveillance.

Iran's F-313 to any other Stealth aircraft out there (F-22, J-31, T-50, etc).


What the fuck is suppose to be scary?:

-- the Canards (note: no other stealth aircraft has this because
it creates too much aerodynamic buffeting, aerodynamic instability,
and detectable infrared "noise" for missile lock)?
-- the bent wing (note: increased drag, no space for conformal fuel
tanks to increase range [no aerial refueling], missiles, bombs, etc)?
-- the lack of internal space for fuel or bomb-bay, canon ammo, etc?
-- the overly-small airscoops, which are prone to compressor stall
at high G stall or low-speed maneuvering?


Trust me -- the only one who is scared right

Where are the training wheels?!?!?

Perhaps it is a proto for piloted craft that have a certain amount of ground effects that prevent contact with the ground at very low altitudes over relatively flat surfaces. Thrust vectoring might not be used if thrusters can be mounted in the canard wings.

It could also be the platform trainer for advanced cockpit controls that always get upgraded into the machines that do carry various 'tools of war' and the pilots are upgraded by the time the power switch is activated for the first time.
