Kyle - Long range/medium range sharpshooting and the ability to get within range of a given target no matter the terrain or security, also was known throughout the Military and Shooting communities.

Noveske - Made very accurate rifles for long range sharpshooters, and he had a large enough bank account and arms industry influence.

Ratliff- Had a HUGE audience of like minded individuals via FPS Russia's youtube channel.

These 3 could have gathered an insane amount of popular support, funding, recognition, skilled manpower and industrial power if they had decided to "Start a revolution".

Think about it, seriously, all of them were in the top of their fields and each commanded respect due to their accomplishments.

I only knew of him because of Jesse Ventura's lawsuit against him. This is very strange. We'll probably never know exactly why he was killed.

Hello? Ventura was a Navy Seal. The owner of the bar where Kyle claims the incident happened said it NEVER happened. Many Seals have fallen on Ventura's side of this saying, also, that it NEVER happened, meaning this dude made the story up to discredit Ventura and real patriots everywhere. Some hero. He's no hero, in my book. No true warrior would write a book about their kills, profiting from it, no less.

The reality of the situation:

The left-wing gets another talking point in their anti-gun crusade.

The right-wing gets a "hero" out of a pawn who was sent to shoot other pawns in the desert overseas, who came home and decided to be a little bit mouthy about his kills.

Both sides gain a rallying point that will help keep them occupied for a few more weeks without looking at the reality of what has happened, and what people like Chris Kyle represent. As I stated elsewhere, Kyle is neither hero nor villain -- he is a pawn, just as are most of those singing his praises or demonizing him.
