No, it won't stop after March 8 2013. But the peak in energies is somewhere around that period. Think of it as a process to induct more oil into a deep well full of fire and brimstone, and the peak is around that date. But it won't stop after March 8 2013. Besides this, something IS going on with the earth- she's 'groaning'. Laugh if you like, but I can attest to this. Until the last two months I spent two and a half years in a remote area- canadian shield region.

It is free of any of the noise associated with populated or urban settings.

In the last year I began hearing the sound, and feeling the vibration of a very deep level rumbling/ groaning, which became more pronounced until the time I left.

I've been back there only briefly since, so cannot say what is going on now, but there's something in what OP has stated- don't dismiss it outright.

In regards to Earth's vibratory rate and the Schumann Resonance.

I lived in Virginia Beach, Virginia several years ago. From personal experience I can assure you the SR is very strong near the Edgar Cayce A.R.E., Center located on 67th Street.

Just walking on the beach you can feel a vibration, an awareness, very hard to describe unless you are attuned to this vibration. This is why thousands flock each year to this area.

Cayce chose Virginia Beach because it has the highest and strongest Schumann waves on the East Coast.

Interesting to note that Pat Robertson of the Christian Broadcasting Network chose Virginia Beach as well to establish his "headquarters." Something about "God" sending him there to Virginia Beach because the dark souls who were there needed to be exposed. I certainly hope no one believes Robertson's utter bullshit. He's there to harness the waves himself, and I don't mean the waves on the ocean.

The "birthing process" of which you speak is to occur at the Weddell Sea in Antarctica. The CORE of our Mother the Earth is to be birthed (i.e. come out of our mother). The Hopi know the time of year this is going to occur - late August, early September - but have never revealed the year. I didn't think it was going to be this year however...

Very interesting that you felt/ sensed it too. I've come to find that not everyone does, or at least don't know what it is they're experiencing.

I will describe the vibrations in very simple words. The Schumann is Earth's heart beat. Like a magnet. I felt enveloped in this vibration. A wonderful letting go of the limited five senses. The SR is a magnetic tuning fork, a frequency, and being near it is like being turned on to a higher never felt before vibration. Like a switchboard all lit up.

I would describe my experience similarly- 'in tune'or 'aligned', 'resonating in sync, or with'; energized; feeling lighter, more expanded, and part of (rather than apart from) the natural flow/ rhythm of everything around me.

Lived there while my husband was attending classes. We lived on Barberton Drive off of Laskin Road. Barberton is 8 blocks from the Atlantic Ocean. Thousands of psychics make the trip each year to be a part of this energy coming in. Many of them claim a renewal of expanded energies/psychic vibrations after they walk out on the piers and boardwalks.

The vibrations are much stronger near where Edgar Cayce's A.R.E Center is located. It's huge place. The center has a library that is incredible. You can study and read the documents. You can watch films and most of the time the lobby is filled with visitors coming and going. It's on 67th Street. The hills are pulsing with energy. Lots of storms in that area-electrical in nature. Brilliant lightning. Go in late March. It's still cold then, and the sky is gray. The best time to catch a wave or two.

Well- we are certainly experiencing weather fluctuations here on the north shore of Lake Superior: 'yo-yo weather'... alternating between + and deep - temps (30 degree+ differentials within 24/ 36 hours). We're currently @ -29c (-20F) lows. A few days ago we were @ +2c; in a couple of days 0/+1 (+34F) again.
It' been up and down like this for most of the year, and this is not the norm. Something has changed.
