Once upon a time we had very profitable companies making millionaires out of every day people. Those people took some of their profits and used it to buy and sell politicians. Soon they weren't making enough profit but had to continue buying and selling politicians so they moved their companies out of the states so they could keep their profit margin.

The government knew that this would hurt the economy but it encouraged the moves because it bolstered their pockets and took the power of money from other every day people.

Soon every day people were losing their jobs and not being able to pay for their houses. Many lost their houses and the media told every day people that is was because these people were living beyond their means.

Others lost their jobs and then their homes and many people went on food stamps. The government told these people that the only way they would be taken care of is if they gave their vote to the current government. So the people did.

Then the government created more rules and made it near impossible for people to start their own business. The government encouraged business outside of the states and discouraged business in the states.

The people had no money and stopped buying things. Stores closed all over the states. First small stores and then bigger ones. Soon the chains started closing their stores.

Landlords lost money as many stores pulled out on their leases. People lost jobs. Communities lost their mini malls, now empty spaces that became "parks" for the local teens.

Parents fearful of losing their homes worked two to three jobs at minimum wage not sleeping or watching their children.

Children grew up with TV and violent video games telling them how to behave and what to do.

Those that attended college found themselves in deep debt and no hope for any job as they were "over qualified".

Soon all were dependent on the government and the government claimed it was no longer going to support the people because no one was paying taxes. The poor didn't pay and the rich didn't pay and the middle class no longer existed.

The government opened camps, available to anyone that could no longer support themselves. These camps quickly filled up with homeless, jobless, hopeless people.

And they all lived unhappily ever after.
