Ever since 9/11 so the Superbowl after that was in 2002. So this marks the 11th year of Superbowl doom conspiracies... Tom Clancy published the suspense novel "sum of all fears" in 1991. Before that, in the 1970s, there was a novel where somebody crashed the goodyear blimp into the SuperBowl. Maybe the guy preferred Lacrosse to football.
