Lucid Dreaming/Sleep Paralysis?
I have experienced sleep paralysis/lucid dreaming in the past but lately whenever I go from a dream back to my body it seems that my arms are up in the air and slowly move back down to normal position after a second or two.

In the past I would go from lucid dream and then the lucid dream would fade and then I was back in my body(keep in mind I was totally aware, no time was lost)

Why is it now when I go back to my body, it appears that my arms/hands slowly fall down to normal position?

Re: Lucid Dreaming/Sleep Paralysis?
My guess would be you are hallucinating your arms in that position. That's what I found when I experienced LD/SP.

It's been years since I've had sleep paralysis and/or lucid dreams, but when they first started happening, they were terrifying! I could hear everything going on around me, but couldn't move. The worst part was not being able to breathe. I was sure I was going to die in my sleep while people who could save me were a few feet away, in the kitchen.

Turns out, at least for me, it was caused by the Ritalin & Dexedrine I was taking at the time (high school.) That shit is largely posionous and shouldn't be used as widely as it is now.

Alot of people get sleep paralysis from certain drugs/medication but with me I take NOTHING whatsoever. I have also told people/family about my experiences and they jokingly say stay off the drugs. I wonder what would cause these experiences?

Re: Lucid Dreaming/Sleep Paralysis?
Your mind can tune to a variety of energy frequencies in the 'void', or sleep paralysis state. You have an energy body in each frequency that corresponds to your physical one. Sometimes when you are reintegrating a particular energy body upon awakening, you are still under the perceptual frame of dream space/time. In that case, you will have a physical-like reintegration such as you describe.
