Everyone pays tax, it is called VAT, tax on food, clothing, fuel, in fact the entire retail industry is another means of tax, no one avoids it. Even the poor have to pay council tax because the bricks in their house cannot pay whether it is owned by them or not.
It is this ignorance that there is no excuse for, the only tax the poor'est' don't pay is income tax. But you know what, they pay no insurance either and know that they will be homeless when they retire, so they get the shit whichever way you look at it. That should cheer you up no end.
