All of my 5 children have done well, overcome obstacles with the stellar teaching staff, and have always felt valued at Sandy Hook School. Every staff member holds the bar as high for themselves as they do for the students. There has always been a family like atmosphere, highly personable as well as professional. The school motto 'think you can, work hard, get smart, be kind' is integrated into all areas, and it shows !

I would not want my children to have their elementary education anywhere other than Sandy Hook! The teachers' have the gift of teaching in a way that fully meets the needs of every child in the classroom regardless of the vast difference in the childrens' abilities to learn. It's amazing! The opportunities for the students, beyond just the regular curriculum, are abundant. SHS is a culturally diverse community and all backrounds are acknowledged and explored. The staff beyond the teachers are also outstanding from the office staff to the maintainence staff to the cafeteria staff. They all have the best interests of the children and SHS community at heart. There is no more rounded education at the elementary level than at SHS.

I think SHS is a great place to have your child enrolled. Mrs. Donna Page is a wonderful Principal. The office staff, especially Barbara and Joanne are very helpful and kind to all the students. The school does a great 'One School, One Read' program. The kids and parents get involved with reading. The teaching staff is awesome. There is the Jolly Green Giant' fair each year that the kids look forward to. It is definitly a school that puts emphasis on parent involvement. Due to a relocation, my daughter left SHS, but is returning and cannot wait!

About the Tests
In 2008-2009 Connecticut used the Connecticut Mastery Test (CMT) to test students' skills in reading, writing and math in grades 3 through 8, and in science in grades 5 and 8.
The CMT is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Connecticut.

Don't use these third-party sites, use the official one if you want 100% reliable data: [link to nces.ed.gov]

Enough recent data from Sandy Hook if you know how find it.

Re: Search Great Schools.org - Sandy Hook Elementary - No Test Scores or Stats since 2009
I've posted in the original thread regarding sandy hook being a non operating school, that the images she is talking about, appear to me to be possibly taken on a day or at a time when the school was not in session. In bing maps there are 2 views that can be selected from. These are "birds eye" and "aerial". I believe in birds eye view there are indeed NO cars or buses at the school but if you change the view to aerial, there is indedeed a lot full of busses and cars. I then went to the middle school and compared the 2 views there and though there are vehicles in both, you can see that they are different (number, color, positions) images indicating that 2 views of the same spot don't have to be taken at the same time. IDK why you wouldn't get both images on the same pass but maybe someone more familliar with sattelite maps can explain that. As much as I feel it in my bones that sandy hook is a hoax or psy-op, I can't say that this video proves that the school was not operational. Maybe someone out there can get the metadata off of the pictures in the different views and determine time/day/date. I sure as hell don't know how to.

And a school that has received the "distinguished GreatSchools Rating of 10 out of 10" has not received any parental reviews since October 2009?

Nice find. However, I checked Middle Gate, Hawley and Head O'Meadow schools in the area and they also only have Test Scores that go up to 2009. They do, however, have more recent reviews than Sandy Hook.

There is speculation this area is scheduled for a Gas Pipeline.

So, this Hoax may have an Oil & Gas connection?

Some of the homes of the alleged victims families were owned by the State, the Pipeline Company, The County, or the City?

Some of the other alleged victims homes have no records?

What a surprise? Suddenly all of the alleged victims families move away, the homes are demolished, and a Gas Pipeline rolls in?

Its a regular Psychopath Hoax-O-Rama.

Yeah agreed, I just did the same, it appears that Great Schools site is not very up to date. Still, you would think someone would have left some kind of comment since 2009

I believe there is reason to question.
But, why keep focusing on St.Rose (not Rosa) school?
Why not include photos of Hawley or Head O'Mead for
a reference.
This could have been a better video.
