being rich or poor has nothing to do with a person being good/bad. it is a mindset/belief system that attracts/repels things away from you. but controlling one's thoughts takes effort and most people's thoughts are negative thus drawing negative things to them. and many people are just lazy thinkers who let themselves be controlled by all sorts of whims leading to mayhem.

No, it works. Our thoughts are energy and draws like energy to ourselves. But we have our subconscious minds to deal with as well. So it isn't enough to just think rich. A person has to actually feel rich and believe it. And we need to deal with our subconscious which can trump our conscious mind. We can say all day that we want to be rich/we are rich. But if subconsciously we believe that we don't deserve it we will stay stuck or even sink lower. It is all about getting to know ourselves which most people never take the time to do. A person needs to find out who they really are and what they really want and the fears that go along with it. And then find a way to get rid of those fears.

If you want an example of a society based on that idea, take a look at India.
