Schools do not give a shit about your children! They're only interested in your ability to pay taxes, which funds their benefit packages.

Why don't children know their rights? Because they aren't being taught. Blame the media all you want, but our education system is the true culprit in our demise.

The woman in this video was married to Scott Getzinger, The prop guy (maps) for The Dark Knight who died prior to the release.

Shame she ranted like that. She had excellant information but came off as crazy because of her delivery. Not that I would have done much better under the circumstances sh experienced. She should have left the Ghandi stuff out. In a hurry it did not connect.

Her rant about the threat of being turned in to social services will make anyone crazy. I had an appointment with my school concerning my child and when I said I felt my alternative was home schooling, they rolled their eyes at me and one said very sternly "that would not be recommended for your child - she needs the social aspect of school to keep up with her social skills", with a threatening sound in the voice.

This woman is a product of a failed system. Someone who isn't blindfolded. Sad she couldn't pull herself together and deliver her message in a calm, but factual manner.

Not hypocritical at all. You didn't read my post completely. I said I understood - that under her circumstances, I don't know if I would have done better.

Jumping to conclusions is why this country is being separated. I am on this womans side. Just wish she could have come off a little less like she was ready to freak out. The message doesn't get delivered as well and they will paint her to be a crazy woman who is ready to have a breakdown over her husbands death and her child's disabilities. You heard her say the school district made threats already concening social services.

By the way....I agree about getting the kids off the psych drugs and immunizations.
