Ah well, I am sure the next stage after using the EU thought police to identify Eurosceptics will be to enact rules where Eurosceptics are forbidden to vote on EU topics.

stupid proposals are being presented all the time, on a european level. luckily, there are plenty of watchdog groups and ngo's keeping a close eye on every move the eu-institution do.

but i agree, the eu is rapidly leaning towards a police state - which is no surprise. police and intellience have been streamlined across states since the early nineties, and ask any youth about police atrocities and they will have plenty of real-life stories to tell.


yes; that is quite correct. yet, brussels has tens of thousands of professional industry lobbyists, on top of the thousands of european expats who are there for on a political payroll.

in essence, europe is as corrupt as any other federation of states. its ethics just took longer to crumble.



jealous? western europe made the transition from a pure wellfare society to a wellness society already in the eighties. we don't just give people free money, housing, food and healthcare anymore, we also supply them free luxuries and free tools for personal growth.

do you like a weekly sauna, for your health? your social security pays for it, if you have a valid reason (read: doctor's note). do you like some ear-candle sinus clearing to go with that sauna? no problem. followed by a shiatsu massage, some singing bowl therapy and a workshop exploring your inner whore with a gluten-free dinner? really, no problem. your social security does pay for it, it you have to guts to ask. i'm not making up these examples.

This is not worth bragging about...because the food you pay for, the medical insurance you pay for, the property tax/rent (ground rent) you pay for, the Driver's registration renewels you pay for, the water/electricity you pay for and the insurances you pay for..is being billed to a trade name (also a Business name, Wikipedia: trade name).

Example:
Jane Doe = Natural name (initialized).
JANE DOE = trade name (capitalized).
How is your name being typed on the billing documents/statements?


These fees are owed by a Business because the Business makes profit/revenue off of the land, that's what they pay these fees from.

But the average working employee/laborer who does not own a Business bringing in "income" (profit/revenue), is forced to pay for these fees/charges *directly* from their own energy and labor.
The average working employee/laborer uses their 'labor-backed' cash to pay these fees/charges while their accounts are being "credited".

Since non-Business owner Accounts are being "credited", what do you believe your 'labor-backed' cash (containing buying power) is being kept for?
