Let me explain the power outage. This is what happened. The first half was a slaughterfest. Baltimore was beating the dog shit out of San Francisco. During halftime people were basically convinced that Baltimore was gonna ease through the game so easily. Then... the second half started. Opening play was a kickoff returned for a touchdown. CLICK... what chance does SF have? Basically no chance. New channel. Now you got sponsors pissed! They paid millions for commercials but no one wants to watch a beatdown so the NFL needed to figure out a way to get viewers back. Boom! Power outage.drama! Viewers back. NFL rep goes over to Baltimore sideline and demands they make it a close game. On television... coach is pissed! His team is up 22 points with all the momentum. Why wouldnt he be? Power back... SF scores two quick touchdowns and game becomes one posession game but now momentum has shifted. But the NFL wasnt trying to give the game to SF. Baltimore earned it so on the last play before Baltimore's last posession they blew the call on purpose which would have given SF half the distance to the goal and 1st down.. basically a W. It was nothing more than a ratings ploy and to keep the sponsors happy. How many people kept watching the Alabama ND game after halftime? Its all about money. No hidden msgs. No secret codes.
