Quoting: Anonymous Coward 32299721 They use natural gas for heating in that part of the country. Large organizations use diesel generators for backup power. I'm not calling diesel fumes gas fumes, you are. You are assuming I don't know what I'm talking about. As soon as the power went out, the diesel backup generators came on and that's what people are smelling. It's exhaust fumes. So the backup gens came on. And the lights stayed off. Some emergency lights came back on. Not all circuits are gen power. |

That New Orleans voodoo," Vikings running back Adrian Peterson wrote on Twitter. "Firearms are second only to the Constitution in importance; they are the peoples' liberty's teeth." George Washington "The very atmosphere of firearms anywhere and everywhere restrains evil interference - they deserve a place of honor with all that's good." George Washington “No man survives when freedom fails, The best men rot in filthy jails, And those who cry ‘appease, appease’ Are hanged by those they tried to please.” Hiram Mann |

I guess someone could say deisel fumes are gas fumes but normally deisel fumes are called deisel fumes and natural gas leaks gas fumes. Someone at ESPN could have just decided to call deisel fumes gas fumes though. |

In this situation, it is not used so the game could finish if they could not restore power, but so the patrons can exit without tripping up and down stairs. In places where money is exchanged, seconds of time equal thousands of dollars. Gotta keep those servers crunching numbers. |

Think 30 or 40 locomotive sized gensets running full tilt and hundreds of thousands of gallons of fuel. Quoting: ProNerd your an idiot. theres plenty enough generator [link to imageshack.us] [link to imageshack.us] |
