They're pushing "values clarification" at a young age now. My son's middle school is full of gay pride posters, put up by those in charge.

If they didn't get these kids to identify as gay while they are very young and don't really know much, they'd never get them once they identified as hetero, learning from their parents and the broader society as they do in so many ways.

The point is to isolate them and have them make choices earlier than necessary, amid a barrage of pro-gay messages. Obama's afraid that in Boy Scouts, kids are escaping those messages, and he wants those messages included there.
