By looking at the blanks it seems most people disagree with your results. It was still fun though.

Perhaps they just wanted to see the results?

also everyone see poetry differently... that 10 is just my opinion... its not the 10 best... as they all were amazing..
but that list the ones I liked best.

At least I am giving the community some say so... after all it was my 400 Karma spent to buy those prizes...

I'm honored to be in the top 10! I have been an AC browsing the site for awhile. My wife has been asking me to get on here as a member forever. Now my first post gets me into the top ten for the poem contest, it's very encouraging!

every single one of the poems in poll is a rhyming type poem. but you insult this person for rhyming?

Something I now see clear. Off topic...

The power outage at the Super Bowl proves, on the largest of stages, the illusion isn't sustainable forever. What used to be flickers is now full outages. With the recent "shootings" the mass public is beginning to see something is wrong. Things just don't add up. As we all know their illusions are so obvious lately and they don't seem to even try anymore. The time is now for everything to crumble. I hope the people and families that are good, make it through.

This also means some good. The powers that be are somewhat struggling. Like I said, what used to take them seconds to get right, now takes them more then half an hour. So I think many of us are now fully awake and even more, are at least starting to question.

All the poems were well thought out and nice to read.

It would seem I'm even weirder in a strange way then I and people around me thought. Only 2% of people liked the poem I do.

I voted for 'Welcome home'.

It's the closest to what I would have written...

I like seeing the community coming together.

We learned a lot about each other with this contest. We shared out souls :)

it was nice seeing the responses! A lot of folks participated! It was awesome to have that level of contribution!

and yes the talent here is outstanding!

Many thanks Dr. Acula. Although mine didnt make the top ten I thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me this opportunity to reach in and pull out some poetry from within myself. There should be more opportunities for this type of talent showcase competition on GLP. It's refreshing.

Ummm the "dad" poem jumped from 21 to 28 votes in less than 5 minutes. Very interesting.

there is 3,222 people online right now...

is not surprising that in 5 minutes time it could receive 7 votes... especially since this thread is pinned and its now prime time for people to be online.
