Wait, you're telling me money CAN'T buy happiness or love yet I should STILL spend my whole life slaving for it?

I always dreamed of adventures through untamed landscapes, not taxes and private property. Your birth is recorded on a piece of paper, you spend 16 years of your life trying to get another piece of paper that will allow you to get even more pieces of paper, all because some pieces of paper in some books say you have to. Now why on earth should a piece of paper hold so much power? I could tear, burn, or soak that paper.

So true, and the reason is because we allowed it. Not us per se, but humankind in general. We allowed the government to slowly and insidiously grow much larger than it should have. Sadly we allowed the statement "nothing is guaranteed but death and taxes" to be a reality we accept.

Because there is I such thing as a free lunch. I agree with you but all of the luxuries I enjoy don't pay for themselves

Everyone's so obsessed with getting into heaven, they forget to live life. "It's easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of god". The kingdom of god is a very rich place, much richer than gold. I'm sure it's a place just like earth, except without all the concrete and metal monstrosities. The riches to be found are things like fruit. You'll find that a life spent chasing a promise of a better life through consumerism is a very poor life to lead. In heaven's eyes, the riches you gather and live by simply make you poorer in spirit.

For little money ideally you could be growing your own cannabis. Live on bud and not only will your body thank you, but you'll enjoy nice side effects.
