Sorry but Israeli jets frequently violate Lebanon's airspace. It's hardly news...even if Doorknob wants to say a war is happening soon.

How can a sovereign country tolerate its airspace being violated frequently? How can a sovereign country tolerate a military strike inside it's country? Without retaliation each time. Only reports to UN, sometimes, which are filed away in the 10's of thousands of other reports against Israel.

Ponder that for a moment and think for a second how Israel, UK, France or the US would react if it was the other way around.

Maybe they're just trying to provoke a retaliation, which they would spin as a first strike of course.

This is very true if say Russia flew a airstrike in on US then the US straight away would be missiles hot and fired

What they are trying to provoke is the fulfilling of a fake Biblical prophecy so we all will believe its biblical... why you have all those threads prophesying the destruction of Damascus etc...

You wouldn't even have to strike, just "approach" any of their airspaces, then don't respond or turn around, see what happens. Whoever does it, better hit the "ejection seat" button quickly.

As debkafile said, the Israelis now have a undeclared No-Fly zone over lebanon and the borders of Syria.

Its bully tactics, if they retaliate they get hammered and every now and then Israel is free to strike and get told of but this time no one told them off just Russia Iran and various proxies all to bait them....

But against the backdrop of what is happening in Syria its being picked up more in the media.

As one who's been following the Israeli airspace violations for years now, you must keep in mind it would happen once every few weeks... These violations of airspace have been constant now for over a week. They haven't violated Lebanon's airspace like this in a long time.

Until we know DOOM is off, it's worth reporting on these violations IMO.

Yea I saw this last week. Is that all Syria can do? Point 4 scuds at Israel? I highly doubt they could hit their target and I'm guessing if they were dumb enough to launch those that only a few deaths would come from it...

There has been a lot of Syrian airforce activity over the southern Damascus neighborhoods of late. But with Israel striking that convoy/research center last week in Damascus I guess it's open season over Damascus and who the heck knows who did it.
