In box 12 you'll find a new listing for how much your health insurance costs - both you and your employer.

They are only "keeping track" of this now.

This isn't taxable income...YET

EDIT FOR LATECOMERS - BUSINESSES DO NOT HAVE TO SHOW THIS YET IF THEY EMPLOY LESS THAN 250 PEOPLE.

You can bet your ass it will be soon, though. Why else would they put this on your W-2?

Welcome to the shithole you've voted for, America!

Man, they are just ASKING for a revolt, are they not?

So true. Should be pinned.
Insurance payments will be considered "income,"
or taxable.
The guy a thread other day had a great way of putting it saying we will be "ground down," it is everywhere.

We are lucky. We, ourselves, pay about $3,300 a year.

The number on that line (what is paid my us AND the employers)? $13,800.

Can't wait til they slap a 15-20% tax on that, huh?

Even the stupid fucks that voted for this buffoon will be pissed off soon enough.

You'll learn what's in that 13,000 page bill after you vote on it - not to worry.

Assholes.

The real question is will your employer keep paying $13,800.00? or will they just pay the fine?

I have been in a few meetings where that topic has come up; I work for a large employer with over 10,000 employees…. Think of the saving…straight to the bottom line

You got to fucking love it….pos gov

Simple.
Avoid Obama-Care, Avoid the fines. Do not pay them.
We didn't ask for this, it is unconstitutional and you do not have to follow it.
Hell, we don't even know wtf it is yet.

They've already (supreme court) ruled that it is a tax...that's how it was allowed in the first place. You don't pay, it's like not paying the IRS. Good luck with skipping out on that one.

I think she meant that's what the box said. That's not what YOU paid. I believe it is what you AND your employer paid.

(not 100% sure, though - could be what the employer paid)

Well according to GAO and the IRS, the average family of five is going to pay 20K annually. So, what the fuck ever. We're screwed blued and tattooed.

And my parents think I've lost my goddamned mind because I am in the process of selling our cattle ranch (I have a buyer) and moving to a small acreage where I am building a Cob House and setting up a solar, wind system.
