What I don't get is why people panic at all. Everyone should be prepared all the time. There is nothing wrong with have enough food in the house to cover a week. I hate food shopping so when I do go I buy more than I need, and the benefit is when a storm comes I am set and can avoid panic shopping. The only thing went out for was a new gas can and gas just in case.
