My daughter received a after school detention yesterday as opposed to the original thought of suspending her for ten days,Why do you ask? well OK you ready for this! She was standing with her friends at lunch when a older boy approached her and pushed her, her response: Don't do it again . The boy pushed her again, she then struck him in his gut instantly knocking the air out of him and dropping him to his knees, Which then the boys friend proceeded to come after her and swing at her head, she ducked and put this other joker in the headlock and proceeded to pound his face in...Good girl! The problem here, The boys did not get shit, no trouble at all! Now do I let this slide or do I throw a fit? WTF is wrong with our school system?
