I'm an hour north of Toronto, and I haven't felt anything. It could be a small earthquake. They always seem to happen around Quebec these days. Any more movement in the last couple of minutes?

St Lawrence Seaway. Hudsons Bay. Ottawa Valley and Quebec are in the zone for Quakes. Also areas that would be effected by the New Madrid.

Just omagine the Great Lakes spilling out down into the States and the St Lawrence Valley ripping wide open.

Windsor Ontario had many humming noises going on and for months in a couple towns. Drove everybody just about nuts last summer.

Also Winsor has Salt Caverns. Windor Salt.

Hello everyone, I am in the Ottawa valley.

We definitely get quakes here but these were not like any quakes I have felt... It was like a rumbling, like as if my legs were on a large sub woofer.

No EQs reported in my area.

After the rumblings I was by the stove and all of a sudden a glass that had been on a shelf for months came crashing down. that is kind of what weirded me out.

if you have an iPhone, download iSeismometer and you'll see the rumbling in the form of scrolling graphs. you can even do a screen capture.

That area you live in is not safe anymore. Its propably destablizing just like eveything else.

Keep us informed if the rumbles keep happening even if you are freaking out.

You will be effected by anything that happens with the new madrid.

Pay attention to what goes on in the area with the Government. Movements. Watch local area papers for other information and post anything strange to your thread.
