Is he the guy that said he knew he was targeted and if he ended up dead from suicide or a car accident or falling from a building, or words to that effect, he wanted people to know it wasn't true?

Was it no name that interviewed him? Have you written the interviewer with the information? They'd probably remember him and know if he said those things.
