Nothing too extreme yet, they are in the red but only 1-2% right now max. However, I do think things are warming up to a big carsh for sure

Over the last 5 days the Italian stock market has lost 1358 points, that's about 7.59%. Things aren't looking to great, I'm going to be interested in what happens latter tonight when the European stock market opens up.

if the predictions of a double dip depression forecast back in 2008/09 were accurate, this assent to dow 14,000 etc. does mark the high point for the market... historically massive corrections tend to happen near the end of the year though..

Can't have anyone suggest an out of control spending habit might actually cause irreparable harm to the world's economy. At this point in time, I think whatever sovereigns actually hold US debt are culpable as well.

The Chinese & Japanese are co conspirators with the US. I cannot see how they could not have looked down the road and seen what is coming. When I was a teenager I could see where it was headed. Some college professors still teach that running up the debt has no consequence.

When will we hear about this in our MSM??
