2012 DA14 WILL hit earth.. Confirmed.

It would be extremely unlikely that it would hit any, but if it did the debris would be at very high altitudes and remain up there for millenia. That's the real problem, in fact.

The wrong side of earth will be facing the close approach unfortunately.

Thanks Astro! As you know, it's amazing how much space junk is circling the planet. As far as the approach goes, I wish it was on our side. Wouldn't it be cool if NASA could embed a cam on the asteroid so our eyes could hitch a ride into space. :)

It's going to hit Texas because it is the biggest state, therefore the largest gravity pull, duhhh.

My thoughts as well. Have you heard of a famous so called
"rogue astronomer/psychiatrist" named Immanuel Velokosvsky?
He has some interesting things to say about our "hidden
past"--have a couple of his videos posted on my threads.
He was friends with Einstein and old E. was said to have been reading "Worlds in Collision" on his death bed....
so you know E. took the guy seriously. His book called:
"World in Collision" was made popular again in the 1990's
by Sitchin--the fellow who brought us the info on the
alien origins and the Ananaki. The new movie "Promethius"
is based losely on some of Sitchin and Velokovsky's work.
Long and short of it...Yeah...we've been hit before...
we will be hit again. Just hope you aren't the flea on
the dog's back who gets the first dusting of flea powder,
right?

Telling us is nots gonna hit... But all I could focus on was a globe behind him that had 2 bright circles, 1 white 1 blue.... 1 just off the east coast of south America and another to the North West further into the Pacific...
Certainly rang alarm bells to me...

Don't worry. DA14 - even if it does hit - is not large enough to destroy the planet. At an estimated mass of 130k metric tons, it would produce the equivalent of 2.4 megatons of TNT.

And considering most of the Earth's surface is water, it's likely to strike there instead of dry land.

Good! Do you ever watch the show Meteorite Men? Those space rocks are worth a lot of money. And with any luck it will create a huge crater that will fill up with oil. No need to drill...just scoop it off the top!

Sorry, dude, it is way too fast for the gravitation to pull in and hit. Its parameters have been staying very stable.

It had never been broadcasted if it had any slight bit of chance to hit the earth, following their rule.

But, DA14 visits the earth every year, so we have to wait until next year. And, who knows what will happen?
