I do like this women, but I never told her, I just wanted to be nice. It seems that whenever you do something nice for a women, they take it the wrong way.
What should I do? Should I confront her about it, or just keep the card?

You could kindly say that you did get the card for free and you were not going to use so rather than seeing it go to waste you thought you'd give it away. If you say nothing than she may believe her impression of you was correct. btw... you should not blame her too much. It is the men that create women to react this way. You would know what I mean if you walked in a woman's shoes for a day. Please do tell us more about you poor oppressed women. As long as I don't have to walk in high heels. As a guy, your suggestion is wrong in principle. OP is not guilty of anything, let alone some vague sins of men as a whole. It's weak to apologize for nothing. The best response is to realize there are plenty of fish in the sea. (and no I am not suggesting you go on pof.com ) Apologizing doesn't always mean you are admitting you're wrong but more of a gesture that you regret and feel bad for a response/action that was misunderstood and taken out of context and not for what it was not intended for. I don't think the guy did anything wrong. If he wants to give a gift card away so be it! Maybe a litttle "empathy" comes to mind! Sheesh! That's the mindset that gets a guy friendzoned for sure. Sorry, I cannot approve that as advice for my fellow guys.
