Daniel 4:12 The leaves thereof were fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in it was meat for all: the beasts of the field had shadow under it, and the fowls of the heaven dwelt in the boughs thereof, and all flesh was fed of it.

A cut and paste to google gets you the full daniel 4, which includes the answer-interpretation of the same text, so that's not much of a useful quiz heh

No, Daniel 4 gives you an answer but it does not tell you what the components of the verse mean.

Re: Bible QUIZZ time ... who knows the meaning of this verse?
As an aside though, the bible interpretation is helped by knowing that generally speaking, in the biblical metaphors (as well as in metaphors from other religions), the following are pretty standard:

Waters/ocean = the basic underlying reality of.. well.. reality

Earth = your mind ground

Sky/Heaven = what you (**erroneously) perceive as "outside" of you

Plants = strong and enduring mental structures, like beliefs and knowledge and whatever

Animals/Insects/etc = the mental objects that are constantly flashing around our minds that come and go with the wind

That should be enough for you to be able to start on the path to understanding Genesis, at least.

**Genesis 1:6 "Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters."

The tree you saw, which grew large and strong, with its top touching the sky, visible to the whole earth, with beautiful leaves and abundant fruit, providing food for all, giving shelter to the wild animals, and having nesting places in its branches for the birds— Your Majesty, you are that tree! You have become great and strong; your greatness has grown until it reaches the sky, and your dominion extends to distant parts of the earth.

Actually those are exactly what the bible goes on about. That is also a hint to what Jesus meant by the kingdom of heaven being present right now.

Keep in mind that the bible is a translation of a translation of a translation, there's not going to be any secret codes in the english version, just the standard metaphors.

Research this, and keep in mind that Genesis is about how to gain enlightenment.

Persevere in your examination of the text!

The tree in Daniel 4 represents Babylon.

The symbol of the tree cut down [ancient Babylonian empire]
and the stump banded symbolizes the third and last incarnation
of Babylon... global 'Mystery, Babylon' [Revelation 17 & 18.]

If by new age you mean what monks have been cloistering themselves for thousands of years to try to accomplish.. sure.

Careful examination of the texts and contemplation on their meaning will show you the way.

Actually your code thing is the new age quackery!

Re: Bible QUIZZ time ... who knows the meaning of this verse?
OP is probably talking about The Bible Code in which you take a letter from the text and skip x amount of letters over and over as long as x is the same and spell something out. For example I could start with the first letter then skip 7 letters and take that letter, then skip another 7 letters and in the end the letters I stopped on each time should spell something out. I think its all pretty much bs and you could take any text and do this and get words you could say are prophetic or whatever. There's no way I want to spend any time going over this Bible verse to find whatever the OP found and thinks is some enlightening message.

peace

I've seen others posting on this site who are aware of the bible's content, but it's too bad the immediate response of most people is to shut down their minds. Therefore in the New Testament Jesus is quoted as explaining to his most trusted disciples that the deep teachings he has to teach can't be shared with the public and are layered in metaphors. Literally it says that in the New Testament.

A hint is he always says something like "let he who has eyes see" or "let he who has ears hear", meaning there's an extra layer of information in whatever he was talking about
