People had free electricity, newly weds were given thousands of dollars towards their first home, the government paid around 50% for their car (possibly more), there was a 0% interest in bank loans. The man pretty much created a perfect socialistic type of state. He even turned the desert into growable farmland which was given to the people to grow crops. There was no racism.
