I am white...I know it wasn't me who did this to the Natives, but I do know that my ancestors did. I feel badly for that. And yes...we all have to move on. But, if you were on THEIR end, it is hard to move on, when people won't recognize that they were f***** over...period.

I find it funny that we aren't supposed to generalize based on skin color anymore but every black person assumes their ancestors were slaves to whites and it's assumed that all white peoples ancestors were slave owners.

Not really that, it was basically a dance to call upon the spirit world and their dead ancestors to bless them and curse the whites. Basically they had given up the will to fight, which in turn caused some tribes to be destroyed either by bloodshed or by integration into white society.
