The anagram for sword is words

hmm, that's interesting. So what does the bible say that "god" did with words or language?

"So the Lord scattered them from there over all the earth, and they stopped building the city. 9 That is why it was called Babel[c]—because there the Lord confused the language of the whole world. From there the Lord scattered them over the face of the whole earth."
Genesis 11:8-9

also a quick footnote here:

Genesis 11:9 That is, Babylon; Babel sounds like the Hebrew for confused.

That's why the Bible calls it Babylon the Great , the worldwide system of false religion. Also says it will be destroyed. Will be reminiscent of destruction of Babylon by Medes and Persians. "Babylon sits on many waters"
"waters are nations, tongues, and tribes of people" "[Babylon's] waters are drying up." "She says 'I sit a queen and am no widow, I will never see loss of children"
{something I've never been told, but noticed myself, is how like the story of Jezebel this is. She had taken 'decisive action' in the valley of Jezreel, "the low plain of decision", to be evil.]
Babylonians were partying and drinking out of utensils taken from the Temple in Jerusalem, unaware that their conquerers , having diverted some of "her many waters"-canals- were wading in through the river gate, which they'd neglected to close that night.
As someone who has viewed the Bible as untruth, and now truth, I can say the truth view is a thousand times more interesting. I could go on a lot more about the above, for instance.
What you posted above is very interesting, though. Thank you.

I have to say, as somebody who used to think the Bible was true, but now knows that it's just a fairy story, I think that the view of reality - that it's a big bunch of myths - is far more useful and interesting.

The idea that the Hebrews were looking into the future when they said "Babylon sits on many waters" is fantasy. Babylon had the largest existing empire at the time that this was written, but it was coming under pressure and declining rapidly. The Persians and the Medes were already pressing in. That's not prophecy, it's just simple reality. I could write such a prophecy by saying something like "America is being crushed by her debt, she won't be able to sustain military occupation of so many countries in the future." It will come to pass, maybe in 5 years, maybe in 50, maybe even in 500, but it will surely come to pass.
