I have a question.
In the Bible (and the Old testament) we see male inheritance references, it goes from father to son to grandson etc as it is usual with the Partiarchical families (and societies).
Then why is it that the Jewish religious law recognizes only descendants from a Jewish mother (Matrilineal Descent)?
