Re: Cute Girl flips off Judge, hilarity ensues
Am I the only one who doesn't understand why I should have to answer to a judge who is a foreigner? He can't even speak English without an accent. How long has he been here? Does he know our laws? That is disturbing. Not only that, he is punishing her because society says that she can't even put something in her body. Enforce the law but don't be such a baby about it You know this judge is a perv too. Look at the way he gets off on teaching this bad girl a lesson.

I didn't think she was that rude. She almost seemed like she was flirting with him. When he said bye all she said was adios. It wasn't even mouthy. She had been kind of disrespectful by laughing but it's not like she came right out and said F.U. I even heard her say a sir I think. She only flipped him off at the end after he was a prick. He's probably not even a judge. Half of them are just magistrates posing as judges. Maybe that's why he was about to cry.

Thats racist. He up'd her bail cause she said adios because she is hispanic.

...and there's the race card. pitiful
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1312359

sorry but its clear in this case. If you dont see it you're a racist.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 554016

He obviously thought she was being flippant but I think she'd have a case to have that one overturned.

The flip off? Not so much.

She is obviously used to sexing her way through life. Playing with her hair, licking her lips...I love that he played along with her and then zapped her.

Yes, I have many times argued that taking a person with a low socioeconomic status and forcing them to pay fines and probation fees and every kind of fee you can think of results in a vicious circle of crime. it leaves the victim with no choice but to engage in criminal activity or go back to jail. It is ALL ABOUT MONEY.

The "justice' system in the United States is designed to create offenders and revenue. Instead of helping people with problems they intentionally make their situation worst.

We have to ask ourselves liberal , conservative or libertarian, does this make good sense? When a prosecutor knows a defendant is innocent and holds back evidence from the defense and the grand jury in a criminal case, he is protected by a law known as the "absolute immunity clause". The same goes for a judge that intentionally creates a biased courtroom enviroment. These people should be charged with felony crimes agaisnt the people under the Constitution and disbarred from any further involvement in the criminal justice system.

This is why the United states has more people in prison than any other nation in the world, and it is estimated that >15% are completely innocent of any wrongdoing and with another 60% the best interests of the community could be served better by other procedures other than incarceration (which actually does no good and cost us the taxpayers billions of dollars) such as mandatory rehabilitation programs or mental health services in the case of drug offenses or where mental issues caused the offenders to commit a crime. For instance it is estimated by the US Justice Department and conveniently ignored that 95% or more of all sex offenders incarcerated in the United States (rapists, child molesters etc) were victims themselves of the same crime they committed and in nearly every case the perp went unpunished. I am not saying they should go unpunished, but the key is not in punishment but in breaking the cycle of abuse using common sense approaches, not schooling them in prison on how to get away with it. Many of you would say a bullet to head would be appropriate and I at one time believed that myself, but then you would in nearly every case be guilty of killing a victim of the same crime you want to kill the person for.

Prisons are colleges for learning how to be better criminals, and invariably create far more hardened individuals than when they entered the system, who are for the most part eventually released and know nothing but criminal ways of surviving. Everything should be done possible to keep offenders out of prisons because the end result of prison incarceration is a far worst danger to society who is nearly sure to re-offend.

Add to this Parole being overseen by vindictive, power mad, sadistic officers who want nothing more than to send that person back to jail. They literally have to move heaven and earth at times to appease this crooked system.

Probation is pretty much the same, just not as extreme in most cases.

Add to THAT: A lifetime of never being able to get a decent job because of a record that never goes away, regardless of the fact that you've served your time, paid your fines and stayed straight as an arrow for years.

They might as well kill anyone with a felony at this point. They've made it impossible for them ever to actually have a decent life AND stay on the straight and narrow.

I agree, if a person commits a crime it is a wrong and when he or she has been punished, it should be by force of law forgotten and not made available to anyone who wants to see it.

I also strongly feel that the punishment should fit the crime, a person giving up 40 years of their lives for robbing a bank without harming anyone is simply NOT an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth, it's your life for usually a few thousand dollars and creating a few moments of fear in people who are ROBBING PEOPLE DAILY with their LEGAL activities.

I would also like to add that I believe that any judge, prosecutor, cop or lawyer who acts in any way to obstruct justice or any group of said individuals who conspire together to do so in ANY case by withholding or excluding exculpultory evidence that exonerates the accused (which is par for the course in US justice and protected by force of law as legal) should be put in prison for life or hung by the neck until dead. The reason I believe the punishment should be so severe is because these are the very people who are putting people in prison and punishing them and they have undoubtedly done it as a matter of course in an ongoing pattern, and it amounts to TREASON.
I won't go into the details of why it is Treason (aiding the enemy materially in a time of war-, because most of you would not understand the complexities of the issue and what is actually happening in US. It has to do with BAR and what BAR stands for and how every person who is a member has sworn an oath to a foreign country. This includes every prosecutor, almost every judge, and all lawyers who officers of the court. That's why there is a gold fringe around the flag in the courtroom and the constitution is not in force while court is underway.

BY the way, a very little known fact in the United States is what BAR stands for. The implications are enormous, and prove the revolutionary war was a farce of history and the United States is under British rule as a corporation. When a lawyer takes the "BAR" exam and passes it, he swears an oath to a foriegn nation. BAR stands for British Accreditation Regency. In order to be a judge one MUST be a member of the BAR in good standing, the same goes for a prosecutor. A lawyer DOES NOT have to be a member of the BAR to practice law, but he is not considered an "officer of the court" and has very limited power to obtain justice, such as filing motions to obtain exculpatory evidence or repress informatory irrelevant evidence..A Judge who is a member of the BAR will systematically overrule the objections of any person who acts as legal council who is not a member of a foriegn organization and has not sworn an oath to it. Does anyone but me find a problem with this given it is unconstitutional and amounts to treason?

Judge says "Bye Bye"
She replies "Adios"
Judge increases her fine.
She gets mad and flips the judge.
Judge sends her to jail for contempt.

But, honestly, I thought her "Adios" was cute and genuine. I am surprised the judge took it as malicious and contemptible...maybe there is a rule of "No Spanish in the courtroom" ???

First issue: She's high and obviously not in her right mind...why is she standing trial?

Second issue: A judge is supposed to act on reason; not on emotion. He changed his sentence on her because he got emotional over her saying "adios"...which is simply "goodbye" in another language.

I think that judge clearly deserved the middle finger and I applaud her for having the guts to do it to his face.

Did anyone pay attention to the judge's behavior and words? He told her to be serious, but in that same sentence he made an inappropriate comment saying they're not in a club. That was offensive as far as I'm concerned. He should have said this is a courtroom. She apologized saying he made her laugh and he said "it's alright" and laughed himself. If he wanted seriousness and respect, respect is a two way street. Hell even the court clerk doesn't address the judge in an appropriate way. I could care less if it was his wife. I can't make out exactly what she says, but almost sounds like "no Jackson" or "no Jack said" Someone want to weigh in on that?), but whatever she says she certainly doesn't say 'no judge...' or 'no your honor..'.

He showed no respect for her as a person -- guilty or not, even insinuating she was on drugs. He then mockingly says bye bye instead of telling the bailiff / sheriff, to remove her (as the matter was over), or tell her you may go since bail had been set, or anything more appropriate than an arrogant mocking "bye bye". The judge (and I use the term lightly), was a total ass and essentially set her up taking advantage of her immaturity IMO. He in effect encouraged her behavior. Check the follow up hearing with a different judge. That judge had proper control of his courtroom and the entire proceeding.
