I had to follow up with a black girl about a job opportunity last night and I gave her a call and all I heard was loud talking/yelling, screaming and obnoxious laughter. I couldn't even hear myself talk into the phone. I asked her to call me back when she wasn't so "busy".

Today she called me back and instantly I heard a couple of loud, crying kids. They were screaming, crying and possibly throwing stuff. Once again I couldn't hear myself talk, let alone hear her. It turns out she was 19 years old with 2 kids, living with her ex boyfriend who knocked her up with one of them...she made sure to let me know he was her ex and the father of just one. Definitely the kind of girl I want to hire.
