The OP's claim that the sun is bigger is based purely on the "fact" that the transit of venus was delayed (extended) 7 min. I had not heard this before and no where online claims that this actually happened. It would be major news if it did! It was also recorded by many astronomers so could not be covered up.

So OP. Where did you find the evidence of the 7 min delay.

It is a typo. He meant transit. The venus transit is a popular spectacle and when it took 7 minutes longer than expected, the anomaly was noticed by amateur asstronomers worldwide.

The laws of physics simply don't work that way.

Now, granted, the sun does want to expand. You're right there. It's constantly trying to expand due to the pressue from fusion going on at it's core. It rushes outward from the core and all the way up via convection but - the gravitational forces being applied right now are still strong enough to keep it from doing so. It's in an equilibrium.

This won't last, you're right about that as well. As the Sun continues to burn it's hydrogen into helium, at some point it will lose enough mass that the gravitational forces won't be enough to overcome the pressure at the core.

You're just wrong about the date. We've got ~5 billion years for that to happen.

Transit times have always had a degree of variance in them, for a number of factors, most notably the actual transit path it takes.

For example, the transit in 1761 was 6 hours and 35 minutes, but the transit in 1769 was 6 hours and 20 minutes.

Our sun is basically a huge fireball power generator, power by fusion. It's going to have violent storms, or "tornado's" on it, nothing to be alarmed about, there won't be some kind of cataclysm. The only time this will happen is if fusion stops, and collapses on it self, due to gravity. No cause for alarm..
