I was raised in a pentecostal church. It was at it's biggest about 50 people, so not that large. I remember people dancing, laughing, and falling over with "the spirit". In my adult life, I've never felt anything similar except once when I was praying and was overcome with the giggles, I was by myself when it happened. It was quite a joy though.

Laughing and being "overcome with the giggles" doesn't sound like the Holy Spirit to me. I think it's more like crying and falling on your knees in repentance, like the original thread post said. Being slain in the spirit and being overcome with the giggles is not Biblical....these pentecostal "phenomena" are definitely not from the living Creator God and Holy Spirit....it is satanic.
