John the Baptist was Elias

Matthew 11:13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.

Matthew 11:14 And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come.

John the Baptist was not Elias

John 1:21 And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No.

JOHN WAS ELIJAH IT WAS PROPHECIED IN MAL 4:5-6

JOHN DID NOT KNOW HE WAS ELIJAH JUST LIKE NIETHER OF US KNOW WHO WE WERE IN OUR PAST LIFE

JOB 8:8 For enquire, I pray thee, of the former age, and prepare thyself to the search of their fathers:

9 (For we are but of yesterday, and know nothing, because our days upon earth are a shadow:)
