I don't think so. I grew up in the tropics, didn't sound like any thunder I've ever heard. This sounded just like a plane passing over, but it was very brief with no doppler effect before or after.

Do they have a Airforce Base around Seattle?

I live on west coast Vancouver island across from port angelese,there is always jets spraying chemtrails,and mysterious booms coming from your side.

Boeing is the closest airfield about 15 miles away from me. But again, this wasn't a passing plane. It was just a loud whoosh from above, then it stopped. Not a rumble like thunder.

I thought that was weird by itself, but then when the rain came right after the sound, that really made it odd. I was just outside thinking how nice it was, we might actually end up with a clear day today. Not anymore.

i used to live in st thomas usvi. i heard a loud rumble that lasted several minutes then a very big down pour. the rain came like a wall of water. so perhaps it was the rain coming?

From my experience, Seattle doesn't have weather like that and this didn't sound like thunder.

A lady posted last night that there have been trumpet sounds like the video and same sounds that woke up the whole Island of Coast Rica. Go Listen too it. U Tube.

She lives in BC West Coast and said its been happening in the early morning mostly and has been ongoing for the last 5 days.

There have been DAILY LANDSLIDES up and down that Coast Line that keep shutting down the main Rail Line from Squamish to Seattle.

Beware and pay attention.

I live in issaquah heard this last night. Thought it was a plane passing but the sound lingered like it was fading away then came back. Then rain started pouring a little later. I don't see planes out here.

I'm surprised that's all your worried about in Seattle what about that 5 day stagnant fog we just had? Weather reports issued a warning against contaminated air and told elders and children to say indoors...the fog lasted five days and was so dense if you recall. I also heard and saw what you did, but I hear the low plane wirring almost every night now late at night most times.
