I have taught Iranians at PG level and can confirm there are some very, very smart people in Iran. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 33087511 Apparently those 4 weren't involved in this super stealth top secret photo op!!! Ha ha Chip, nice one! But my point still stands. They would never allow their real project such exposure. rememeber what they did with the captured drone? Same, same, but different. FFS they just put a monkey up and brought it back. When you are strong appear weak, no? |

I suspect not ours, but rather the Iranian people.. I could quell a bit of unease and unrest if you are thought to have some super duper weapons and means to deliver them.. Not to mention bolster the confidence of the forces already in play, nothing helps bolster confidence more than thinking you have superior weapons supporting you.. Just my thoughts... sorry to rain on anyones parade *thumbs up* |

Let off as an ied while flying upside down when it reaches it's target. Enough of the model is shown that an engine type and weight could be used to determine balance point. As for performance having the big wing close to the jet nozzle eliminates the need for the vector thrust hardware thing and all it's complexity as the canard wing is plenty fast enough for h-g turns. This may take a few years if it follows the usual procedure by Iran. When Iranian air-force placed an order of 30 Iranian saeqeh fighters several years ago. It took a few years for 12 of them to be delivered to the airforce to make one fighter and close support attack squadron that is based on Attack base-1 in Tehran. Also at first few footage of the saeqeh were shown until 3 prototypes took part in a war game a year or 2 later and not much until 12 were delivered to IRIAF. Anyway if they follow the same routine then when IRIAF placed order for 20 qaher then it would take a a few years for the order to be made and more info will only shown when it is ready and delivered to IRIAF. So if IRIAF got 12 out of 30 for saeqeh, I assume getting 20 of this maybe a bet too much and maybe 6 to 12 will be delivered to them a few years from now. Who knows maybe Iran has changed tactics. |
