Anonymous Coward User ID: 32730568 Spain 02/06/2013 06:32 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation	Re: Mexican gang brutally attacks and rapes 6 tourists in Acapulco I have to say here,that,I have lived in both Villahermosa and Reynosa,right on the TX border,and have never had any bother at all,apart from some hassle the US side border control (plastic cops with an attitude),so,this unfortunatley happens all over the world,its horrid and cruel ,but,please dont put down the mex for this as we have alot of happy memories there,along from London,Paris etc where it could happen also. PS We got mugged in NYC ,so ???????

Juarez is just across the border from Brownsville,Texas and because of some NAFTA agreement, the firm had some operations there. I'm not an ahole, not anti-Hispanic, not racist, am professional, polite and speak passable Spanish. I also always had a friend who was from P.R. next to me in case. The phone would ring FOREVER. Finally, someone like the security guard would pick up, listen, mumble, transfer me to someone else. This women would then say yes, yes [Si, si] she understood, said she was going to put me on hold, then disconnected. When my friend did it, the same thing happened. The beer guy came over and I asked for 2 beer. 40 pesos he said. I gave him 200 pesos and waited for my change. He then put the 200 pesos in his pouch and asked the person next to me if he wanted a beer. I said to the beer guy "where is my change?" He then started getting mad at me and pointing to the police and saying he was going to get the police after me for hassling him. Then he had the nerve to ask me to pay the 40 pesos for my beer. I didn't want any trouble so I reached into my pocket and gave him 40 pesos in exact change. Moral of the story... never use a large bill when paying for small ticket items... that is when you will get ripped off. If they ask for 40 pesos... give them 40 pesos. If you ever go to Puerto Vallarta and go to the bull fights, do not order beer for the old guy who pours beer with one arm behind his head. That is his trademark pour... that is the guy that ripped me off if plain sight and in full daylight.
