It's one of our main brands around here you can usually buy the pints for a dollar in a bulk sale.

I'd have to put my vote in for Haagen Daz brand they're really rich and creamy.

There are a few that are exceptional, like the praline cream and one of the vanillas. Years ago they had an awesome strawberry vanilla with fresh strawberry slices, but haven't seen it in a while.

The others are good (to me) but not any better than other regional brands.

Good luck on shipping it, it is always hot and humid as hell down here.

Blue Bell tastes very fake. Strawberry is a good flavor. I would prefer a more 'realistic' ice cream though.

best ice cream is the kind made at home with the hand crank/rock salt/real cream etc.

get together with family/friends whatever and make some real ice cream-

then you'll know what it tastes like-

Jonk754, you can't get Blue Bell ice cream in your town? I thought Blue Bell was a national ice cream and not a regional type. Here in Texas, as far as I know, in virtually every supermarket type of store you can easily get Blue Bell ice cream. Though the stuff really is pretty expensive. If you don't mind me suggesting, Jonk, spend your money on something easier to begotten and or healthier.

Yes. I've lived all over, and this is hands down the best ice cream I've ever had.

I like Blue Bell homemade vanilla..but it is full of sugar.
I think of it fondly..but go eat some fruit instead.

All the icecream sold at $1 stores here in San Diego is BlueBell, never bought it because of that reason alone.

Cream. Sold only at Publix. I didn't realize it was their exclusive but that is where I always bought it.

Last time I got two and it's the only grocery item I've ever had in my hands that people stopped me 3 times and once at the register to comment on how good it is.

I dont understand the poster that said that no one would ever do that for me. I know that no one will if I dont ask, but I thought someone out there would be willing to buy me a thing of their homemade vanilla ice cream.

I am not asking someone to get in their car and go buy me ice cream and ship it to me for nothing. I will pay for the ice cream and $40. I am sure they could ship it to me for less than $10-15 and making $25 to mail something out to me seems like easy money in my eyes.

Bluebell is good standard ice cream. It does not compare to a premium ice cream. I am sure there are plenty of great local ice creams in Wi.

It's decent good ice cream, OP, but not worth the hassle you're talking about. Get some Ben n Jerry's or Haagen Daaz. You won't miss Blue Bell.
